WeggiePedia was created by Andrew MacLean as a way to collect as much accumulated knowledge of Wegener's Granulomatosis as possible from those that are suffering the disease and those that are affected by it, their relatives and friends.

The site was created in August 2007 and aims to be a significant resource in the quest for information on this rare disease.

Participation is encouraged and it has been made as easy as possible to add and edit content.
